Transfer
Moving a live call from one agent or destination to another, either blind or consultative.
What it means in practice
Transfers come in two forms: blind (agent drops off and call re-routes immediately) and consultative (agent talks to the receiving party first, then joins the caller). VICIdial supports both. Common transfer destinations: closer, supervisor, external 3-way to a partner (attorney, lender, specialist).
In VICIPanel
VICIPanel's transfer UI shows the target's availability, workload, and skill tags before transfer. Transfers are logged on the recording with a timestamp-linked second leg.
