ChatGPT supports MCP in its desktop apps and selected web contexts. Setup is similar to Claude Desktop with a few OpenAI-specific nuances.

Open ChatGPT → Settings → Beta features → MCP
Enable MCP connectors if not already on.

Add a connector
URL: https://YOUR-TENANT.vicipanel.com/api/mcp. Name: VICIPanel.

Auth
OAuth 2.1 is preferred. Bearer token works as a fallback. Paste your token if using Bearer.

Allow tools per request
ChatGPT prompts you the first time each tool is used. Approve to let ChatGPT continue using that tool in future chats.
ChatGPT's tool approval is persistent per-tool, per-connector. You approve list_campaigns once and ChatGPT can call it in any future chat against the VICIPanel connector.
